We are who we are because of what we do and the scale on which we do it. Trainees and Apprentices have the chance to experience exciting high profile work in a wide range of teams across our firm, from Banking to Real Estate to Technology.

Being at Dentons means not being restricted by geography. Our polycentric approach gives us the vantage point to champion everything that makes our people, them.

Some of our values include:

  • Inclusion and Diversity: We value the diverse perspectives and experiences you bring, whilst we see inclusivity as an active responsibility we all share. This value is sponsored by our CEO, Jeremy Cohen, and shaped by our people via our diversity networks.
  • CSR and Pro Bono: Success is seeing gain differently. It’s not just about you and it’s not about us either. Last year our teams contributed 17,000 hours to pro bono work, and collectively fundraised £73,502 for charity.
  • Innovation: Here at Dentons, innovation isn’t something that sits in isolation, all of our lawyers are expected to spend time working and engaging with innovation.

There are two routes to becoming a challenger with Dentons, the Degree Apprenticeship and the Training Contract.

University isn’t for everyone. Don’t let anyone tell you it is. If you want to train to become a solicitor, you just need a spot on our Solicitor Apprenticeship scheme. You’ll start working towards your LLB university degree alongside your day job too. Our degree apprenticeship lasts 6 years, combining four days a week in the office with one studying at BPP University.

Key Facts

Our Training Contracts last two years, and trainees experience four of our leading practice areas. You’ll transform challenges into solutions, meet with clients and get your hands on varied global projects. The best way to learn is to do and we won’t hold you back.

Picking somewhere to start your career is a big decision, and we’ll be on hand to help you make the right choice. There’s a lot of information to get through. Sometimes you might want that little bit more though, and that’s okay.
